EBA students are involved in clubs and sports teams all over Kempsville High School but there are four particular student organizations that are comprised of primarily EBA students. Those clubs are DECA, FBLA, TSA, and NBHS - you can learn more about involvement in those organizations below:

DECA - An Association of Marketing Students
DECA prepares emerging leaders and entrepreneurs in marketing, finance, hospitality and management in high schools and colleges around the globe.

TSA - Technology Student Association
The Technology Student Association (TSA) enhances personal development, leadership, and career opportunities in science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM), whereby members apply and integrate these concepts through intracurricular activities, competitions, and related programs.
National Business Honor Society
2The National Business Honor Society provides honor and national recognition to outstanding students in business education programs. The National Business Honor Society promotes and recognizes dynamic students’ academic achievement in business education at the secondary level. This organization is a service-based organization.
Who’s eligible? Any high school junior or senior who has completed or is currently enrolled in his/her third business course and has a 3.2 (overall) and 3.5 (business course) GPA.
The National Business Honor Society is an official division of the National Business Education Association. Through starting a chapter your students’ names, business teachers' names, and school are recognized on the website.
In Fall 2018, Kempsville High School established its first chapter and members of NBHS.

STEM Trifecta
Our students also compete in all three areas of the VBCPS STEM Trifecta event. We have students who compete in the MakerExpo, CyberSecurity and Robotics Challenge every year. Our students in the CyberSecurity Event have won first place!
